January 28th is a pretty Special day around here! 10 years ago, half way around the world in a village in China a precious baby girl was born, Gong Guo Qing. You might know her today as Abby. Her birth mother made a difficult and selfless decision that day that changed our lives (many lives) forever, and we appreciate and respect her for that.
For the past 5 years, Abby has asked friends and family to donate to St Jude Children's Hospital in honor of her birthday. St Jude cares for children who have life-threatening diseases and their families never pay a cent. If you would like to make a charitable donation, please go to:

We started out the day with a snow/cold day from school. Abby was disappointed because she wanted to celebrate at school with her class. Then she cheered up when the presents came out. She saved up her money and we helped her buy an ipod. How exciting for her!
